Have a Doctor who is open to Bio-Identical Hormones but is unsure what to prescribe?

If this is the case Peter would be happy to work with you and your doctor on finding the right balance of hormones for you.  Peter has done many private consults for women who have had doctors open to the therapy but are not sure what to write for.  If it is a more simple case sometimes a touch base consult in the pharmacy may work to get things started.  

If your situation requires a bit more probing and is more complex a private one on one consult may be the best route to go.  At Balanced Health Integrative Pharmacy (BHIP) we also offer an innovative and comprehensive hormone balancing program for the most pro-active individuals who are seeking out this higher level of service. 

The BHIP Natural Hormone Balancing Starter Program 

The starter program consists of the following:

1. One saliva hormone test that includes testing progesterone, estradiol, testosterone, DHEAS and a cortisol measurement at 4 different times of the day.

2. Initial consultation (typically 1 hour).  An intake form is given to you before hand to collect information.   This includes information regarding your past and current medical history as well as your lifestyle habits, your symptoms and other health related concerns.

3. Four follow-up appointments (ranging from 30 minutes to 45 minutes) to help keep you on track and make necessary adjustments to your program.

4. An opportunity to enroll in a maintenance program.

Full Program Fee:  $695  (does not include cost of hormone(s), supplements, other necessary RXs etc.)

The BHIP Natural Hormone Balancing Maintenance Program

Now that you have your hormones balanced and you are feeling pretty good, you may want to consider enrolling in the maintenance program to help keep those hormones from going out of balance again!  This program has an option of either 4 private consults (approximately every 3 months) or 2 private consults (approximately every 6 months) per year to help keep the client on track.  The maintenance program is aimed at fine tuning your management plan, to help keep you motivated and to address any new issues that may present themselves as time goes by.

Maintenance Program Fees:

4 follow-up appointments (every 3 months) - $240

2 follow-up appointments (every 6 months) - $150
