At Balanced Health Integrative Pharmacy, we have a large onsite compounding lab that is almost 200 sq ft! Our lab is focused on compounding prescriptions prescribed by either your Naturopathic Doctor or Integrative Medical Doctor with a specialty on bio-identical/natural hormone therapy. Compounding is the process of taking raw materials or ingredients and customizing the medication to the client's needs. There was no expense spared when our lab was built as we have invested in the space and many specialized pieces of equipment to facilitate the preparation of such prescriptions. The pharmacy staff members have also undergone extensive training to ensure your preparations are made to the highest standards in a carefully controlled environment.

In addition to preparing high quality compounded preparations, our pharmacy offers personalized consulting and follow-up to provide you information about your preparation that complements your doctors' treatment plan. Many clients report that sometimes there is so much information given to them at the doctor's appointment that they feel quite overwhelmed. This is where we can help clarify things and also help you to better understand your treatment plan.

Peter Lee, our founder and staff integrative health pharmacist, has many years of working with naturopathic doctors and integrative medical doctors. He prides himself on educating and consulting clients when they pick up their prescriptions. He has found from his experiences that this follow up is important in enhancing the quality of care and increasing the chances of attaining a positive health outcome.
